this is a bloody long post. woops. :O

im actually somewhat addicted to drinking tea.
been drinking tea almost every other day.
what an addiction LOL.


well, i feel like dedicating this blogpost to some very important friends in my life.
if not for them, i wouldn't even be sitting here right now typing this.

i've seen many friends come and go.
and sometimes i just sit down and think
it doesn't really matter how many people came by.
what really matters is the number of people who stayed by me.

i find these few things are important in forming true friendships

- being nice

well, for me, im someone where,
if u treat me nice, i'll be real nice to you.
if u treat me like crap, i wont give two shits about you.
if u attempt to make a fool out of me, there's no telling what i would do.
(lol, sound so dangerous!)

- sincerity

make friends because you want to be friends with the person not because of any other motive.

- effort

you have to put effort in a friendship to build it. for example, if i put 50% effort into a certain friendship, i would of course expect only 50% in return. but then again, not everyone conforms to this theory though. some people give in all the way but get nothing in return. so however, do nothing but get all the attention to them.

- trust

i think trust is very important in friendships. if you dont trust a friend, you would never talk to the friend about your problems and your secrets whatsoever. if this happens, your friend only knows you skin-deep so no one understands u well.

- being there for the friend

this is the most important part of being a friend. when you're feeling down, everyone wants somebody to be with them. for example, if i had a ferrari. everyone will be sticking to me/trying to be friends with me because they want to ride my car. but what if one day my ferrari breaks down? would anyone of them even want to take a bus or walk with me to my destination at all? only someone who's a true friend would accompany you in these periods when you're down and out.

so here's a little something i wrote to thank you my friends. you guys know who you are. :D

Friends.

boys or girls we're friends alike.
someone whom i can call out at night.
be it joy, sadness, happiness or fright,
or even a simple sibling fight.

how we came together it seemed unclear,
but the purpose of this deal is clear.
not for money and not for fame,
just someone to walk with through the rain.

it's tough to have a true friend,
it's even tougher to be one too,
but if you are true like the sky is blue,
your efforts will surely come through.

don't stop now that you're way up there
for it's just the beginning of this bond we share
keep going and never give up
and forever i will be there. (:

lols. it's been a while since i've done this. anyways, i dont really know what else to say now.
